Comments: What a bunch of little bitches! Where Alucarda excelled as its leads were possessed and were all about killing people, the two leads in Don't Deliver Us from Evil are more childish (they are supposed to be 13 even though they were 20ish at the time) and take pleasure in worshiping Satan through ceremonies and such. So instead of naked orgies, we have the girls killing small birds and ripping and burning an invalid's clothes. What horror! While I'm trying more or less to be funny here, Don't Deliver Us from Evil is a solid film despite my anger at how immature and annoying the leads were. There were serious moments as well, such as when Lore's teasing goes too far and a man tries to rape her (which happens twice). Because I'm fucked up, I also found it amusing that she is almost raped twice, while no one touches Anne, who is a bit on the fugly side. Also, the ending is bad ass and really makes up for the lack of truly Satanic things the two did. Don't Deliver Us from Evil was apparently banned in France for awhile as well, due to blasphemy. It's rather funny now, as there's not much in the film to warrant this regulation. Unless it was banned due to the fact that none of the girls shaved their armpits.
