Comments: Perhaps one of the most ambiguously gay films I've ever watched, Scarce was one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. It featured nearly 50 minutes of unneeded buildup to the horror, only for nothing interesting to happen. However, there was plenty of discussion about "curing meat," "eating flesh," and lots of touching and groping of barely clad male bodies. Yeah. The film started out somewhat promising, at least after a naked and bloody Jesus-looking dude finished running around. Eventually, we were treated to some lesbian action (for only 10 seconds) and a few funny lines (the one dude was made fun of because he looked like one of the guys from Street Fighter - sonic boom!). But words can truly not describe what a waste of time Scarce was. I will be happy to place this film on my Shittiest Films of 2008 list.
