Comments: Sports movies have become somewhat harder for me to watch after plowing through three seasons of Friday Night Lights. I expect to get a thorough back story for each character with each getting significant screen time. Jimmy's character is given a little story, but for being the star player he is never really developed and his story is barely told. But let's not mistake ourselves. Hoosiers is all about Gene Hackman, and he shines in the role. You feel for him and want him to succeed. Dennis Hopper is excellent as well, and he shows much more acting ability as Shooter than his usual crazy characters. While Hoosiers has a few glaring issues, it's still a fun movie to watch. I love you guys.
