Comments: Cedar Rapids takes a familiar fish-out-of-water story and does absolutely nothing new with it. Ed Helms and John C. Reilly play versions of the same characters we've seen over the past few years. Yet, by the end of the film, I still enjoyed the previous ninety minutes I had spent with it. Cedar Rapids has a certain sweetness to it, a number of solid laughs, and while it won't leave a lasting impression on the viewer, it's truly an enjoyable diversion. That's all I got.
