Comments: The most recent season of Friday Night Lights returns to what made the first season so good: realistic storylines that center around high school kids and football. No crazy or goofy plots, just character-driven drama. Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) takes hold as the lifeline of the series. Previously, I mentioned that Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) was the real star of the show, but he takes a backseat in Season 3, and I found that I really didn't miss him that much. This can be attributed to the great writing which made it's long awaited return to the show. The last few episodes set up nicely for a strong storyline in Season 4, which only saddens me because it's going to be awhile before the show comes back.
